Lipstick of the Week No. 18 - NARS Cruising

It's been a while since I did one of these posts. And apparently when I was taking these photos I forgot how to apply lipstick and completely went over the lines of my natural lips. 

I had NARS Cruising lipstick recommended to me on Twitter a few months ago and, because I'm very easily influenced, I used some Space NK Ndulge (hate that name, by the way) points to get money off this. Cruising is a soft, natural looking mauve-pink-nude that just adds enough colour to finish off a face and leave me looking a bit more polished and pulled together, but without adding an obvious pop of colour. 

Cruising has taken over from Une LS02 (which I actually used up - I ACTUALLY FINISHED A LIPSTICK) as my 'my lips but better' shade. I could wear this every single day if I didn't have 40 others jostling for attention, it really does go with every makeup look I come up with. 

The finish is described as semi-matte, but on me it shows up quite sheer and glossy without being too slick, and it feels moisturising. It does need reapplying fairly frequently, but that's the nature of this type of lipstick so it's not something which bothers me.
