NOTD: Models Own Beach Party

I frickin love this nail colour. It makes you look instantly more tanned and feel more summery. Beach Party is from the Models Own Hed Kandi summer collection and it's a very very bright neon orange. 

However, I wore it to work last week, and spent the day fielding comments about the colour. 

"Do you want to borrow my high viz jacket to go with that?"

"Careful! Don't wave your hands too much, that plane might think you're guiding it in to land."

And my personal favourite: "You want to lay off eating the Wotsits, kid."

Of course, you may work with more enlightened people (i.e., not men) who are not alarmed by neon nails. In which case, go for it - this is a bloody brilliant nail varnish. I may keep it for my toenails next time though.
